Q. Can I customize the private cruise to meet my needs?
A. Yes. The team at Island Girl will work with you on every detail of your event, from menus to decorations to making sure your event objectives are met.
Q. How far in advance should I begin planning my event?
A. Event planning should begin as far in advance as possible in order for us to have ample time to meet all of your event requests. Final details should be provided to us one month prior to your event date.
Q. Can we meet the Captain and visit the bridge?
A. The Captain will open the bridge once the yacht has left the confines of our dock space. Guests are welcome to come and meet the Captain.
Q. Can you sail in inclement weather?
A. Absolutely! Our yachts are fully enclosed and climate controlled for your comfort. We sail - rain or shine - year round. In the rare case of severe weather conditions or upon direction of the U.S. Coast Guard, the yacht will remain dockside for the length of the event.
Q. Is smoking allowed?
A. Smoking is allowed on the outside decks only.
Q. Is there a possibility that I might get seasick?
A. It's unlikely. The Coulee Region experiences minimal wave action. What's more, our yachts are large and very stable, so in most cases, you can hardly tell we're moving.
